Clearwater Care
Clearwater Care is a provider of high quality residential care facilities and supported living services for people with learning disabilities aged between 18 and 65. The platform consists of 14 freehold properties and is located predominately within the Greater London area.
Synova Capital's acquisition of Clearwater will be supported by further capital to grow the Group both organically and through a buy and build strategy. As part of the transaction, Tony McLean and Philip Arden have been recruited to join the Group as CEO and CFO respectively. Tony McLean joined from Care Principles where he was Group Director of Operations, having previously held the positions of Chief Executive Officer at both Castlebeck Group and at Essex and Herts NHS Trust. Philip Arden was formerly CFO of Hallmark Group, a specialist provider of elderly care.
The incumbent Non-Executive Chairman Martyn Ward has remained in his role alongside the buy-in team.
