Joe joined Synova Capital as Head of Healthcare during March 2010. Prior to joining Synova, he completed a number of transactions in UK lower mid-market with Spirit Capital (formerly Aberdeen Private Equity). Joe initially practiced medicine as a neurologist, before obtaining an MBA at INSEAD, and is a member of the Royal College of Physicians in Ireland. Joe worked previously for Geneva based Inventages Venture Capital where he specialised in the healthcare sector.
