The Company was founded in 2003 by Kevin Brown and a team that combined has over 75 years’ experience in the UK’s domestic appliance and heating industry.  Since then the Company has developed its leading proprietary software platform, “Fixzone”, which underpins its high quality service offering and has become the largest provider of  home appliance, gas heating, inspection, repair, replacement and refurbishment services.

Pacifica has a blue chip client base, providing outsourced support services across two divisions: Pacifica Appliance Services, providing maintenance and repair of electrical goods on behalf of brands, OEMs and retailers; and Pacifica Home Services, providing maintenance and installation of domestic energy solutions

Investment Case

Pacifica has the largest directly employed engineer base in the UK providing warranty support, enabling it to manage and deliver a high service quality which is recognised by its clients.  In combination, the business utilises its proprietary software platform Fixzone to deliver superior customer service.  Combining these two factors presents a unique opportunity for Pacifica to grow through both organically winning new contracts and through selected chosen acquisitions expanding the current reach of the business.  Further, recent regulations within the energy services divisions presents a number of growth opportunities including supporting ECO measures.

Growth Strategy

Synova will support Pacifica and the management team to i) continue developing the business’ market leading technology capabilities to include managing of spare parts, engineer routing, product based issue diagnosis, ii) continue to enhance the business’ marketing capabilities, iii) provision of additional capital to support the team to build the business both organically and through acquisition.
